Having served as a Marine Sniper (MOS 8541) and instructor at the Camp Pendleton (CA) school in the mid-80s, I would have classified this Afghan shooter as someone with real skill. A 600 yard SINGLE shot striking a target and remaining undetected is a significant feat.
